Bridesmaids' Luncheon

My wonderful Nana threw a Bridesmaids Luncheon for me, my bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law, my aunt, and my cousins the day before our wedding as a way to kick off the wedding festivities. You can read about my Bridesmaids here. Let me just say this: when it comes to party planning, Nana goes all out. From the menu to the seating chart to the flower arrangements, she has every details down to a tee. This event was no exception! My bridesmaids (minus Anna who was still traveling) all came over to Nana's house for mimosas, chicken salad, and italian cream cake (favorite!). It was all delicious! I will let the pictures do the talking, but each of the women there mean so much to me.

The beautiful table!

Faith, me, and Amanda

Me and my Matron of Honor!

My beautiful DG sisters!

My sweet mother and mother-in-law!

A day away from officially becoming sisters!

I gave each of them a gift after lunch as a way to say thank you for going through this journey with me. I thought a lot about what to get them and finally came across something I loved. I gave them each a bracelet with the inscription "Always Sisters, Forever Friends". Each of these girls are a sister to me. Whether it be a Delta Gamma sister, a biological sister, or a sister-in-law, I call them all my sisters. More importantly though, these girls have been the best friends I could ask for. I thought the wording on the bracelets was perfect because it had a special meaning for each of them individually. They all wore the bracelet on my wedding day, and I couldn't have been more grateful to have my 7 sisters standing up there with me!

The Bridesmaids Luncheon was the perfect way to start off the day. The wedding festivities had officially begun!!
