Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

I stumbled upon this recipe a few months ago and have since made it for several football parties. They are an easy finger food and quite the crowd pleaser. Sausage balls are always a favorite, but the cream cheese in this recipe is what takes it to the next level. I wanted to share for anyone looking for last minute appetizers to bring to your super bowl party this weekend!

Ingredients:

1 lb sausage, uncooked (can use mild or hot, depending on your preference)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups Bisquick
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix all ingredients until well combined. I use my hands and mix thoroughly. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until brown. Serve and enjoy!

Thanks for posting this. I didn't grease the baking sheets but lined them with parchment paper, it was super easy and worked great.
