Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf

Our last week in Florida was a difficult one cooking wise. I didn't want to buy any food since we were moving, and I wanted to try to use as many ingredients I already had on hand as possible. Thanks to Pinterest, this simple recipe was born. It's the easiest meatloaf recipe I've ever made, and I have to admit, it was quite tasty! The husband loved it, and isn't that really all that matters?

Ingredients:

Stove Top Stuffing Mix (chicken, pork, whole wheat, etc- whatever variation your little heart desires!)
1lb ground meat (I used ground turkey)
1 egg
1 cup water
3/4 cup marinara sauce (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients together and stuff into a loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
3. Top with marinara sauce if desired and bake another 5 minutes so the sauce is heated through. Serve and enjoy!

  2. Oh yum this looks so good!! I love Pinterest - I've used it a bunch when I have a bunch of random ingredients at home and I don't feel like going to the store. Some of them have turned out pretty darn delicious.

  5. I'm going to make this. I bet the stuffing gives it a really good flavor and make it so that you don't have to add the extra spices.
