Nutella Cookies

These cookies were the result of a little experimenting in the kitchen, but Parker and I were so pleased with the results! I had some Nutella left over from the Nutella Banana Bread I made, so I thought, why not a Nutella cookie? I took my favorite peanut butter cookie recipe and modified it for these cookies. If you are a Nutella fan, I recommend giving these a try :). Parker brought some to the squadron the next day, and they were a huge hit!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup Nutella
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and Nutella with an electric mixer for 30 seconds.
3. Add sugars, baking soda, and baking powder, and beat until combined.
4. Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined.
5. Gradually add flour and beat until combined.
6. Place spoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheet lined with foil and bake 7-8 minutes.
