Yall, it has been a week. Looking back on it, 2014 has just been jam-packed. I would say I am excited for things to wind down a little bit, but we are moving to a new house tomorrow, so the winding down thing doesn't seem to be in the cards. Let's just keep things light on this fine Friday and talk about a few weekly confessions.
I confess that Bruno Mars was the best part of the Superbowl. I wasn't too hyped about this game since I don't watch a lot of NFL (and by don't watch a lot, I mean I didn't watch a game all season). I thought Bruno Mars was absolutely fantastic. Who knew someone could be so entertaining and show their musical talent whilst still keeping their clothes on? Refreshing. I love his music but had never seen him perform before Sunday. Yall, that man is seriously talented! I about lost it when he sang the song after soldiers dedicated it to their significant others. Thank you Bruno Mars for the best halftime show in years.

I confess that when I saw that my bag of sugar was advertising to be only 15 calories per serving, I about lost it. Are we really marketing sugar as a low calorie food now? It's sugar! Mind blown.
I confess that I got a little excited when my blog hit 400 followers on Bloglovin. The fact that anyone other than my mother reads this blog still shocks me, but I have loved making so many wonderful friendships through blogging. I'm just thankful!
I confess that this is the view from our new backyard. I don't hate it at all.
I confess that Parker and I get excited about the strangest things. He found canned sardines and Mexican soda at the grocery store that he just had to try (the sardines were pretty awful, but Jenny loved them) and I patted myself on the back for finishing a 1000 piece puzzle. Good grief. At least we love each other.

I totally missed the SuperBowl because I couldn't figure out what channel it was on! I was looking forward to Bruno Mars' performance, too. Good luck moving!
ReplyDeleteBruno was hands down the best part of the Super Bowl.. he rocked it! I'm not a fan of most "artists" overplayed on the radio right now, but I love Bruno. He is so talented and a great entertainer :)
