I just think March Madness is fun to say. Parker and I don't really get into college basketball, but March Madness sounds exciting. Anyway, that was random. Today Parker is back for another edition of the boy behind the blog! As many of you know, I love this link-up, and Parker willingly participates in exchange for a home-cooked meal. Kidding, kind of. Here's more from the boy behind Anchors Aweigh.
1. What's your lucky number?
25. Not gonna lie, I stole it from my dad.
I was ready for him to say he didn't have one, but you learn something new every day! 25 is his dad's baseball number from college.
2. Do you have a lucky charm?
Just to make Chelsea happy, I'll say my wedding band.
Feeling the love, husband. Feeling the love.
3. Do you fill out a bracket for March Madness? Who do you want to win?
I did once- Texas A&M. I just don't care about basketball. Last year to sharpen up on my c++ skills, I wrote a program to pick the winners based on random number generation. Strangely, this method proved ineffective.
Although a supreme waste of time, I still think it's cool he wrote a computer program to fill out his bracket.
4. March 10th is "Middle Name Pride Day". What's your middle name?
Lee
Fun fact: I refer to him as "Parker Lee" almost as much as I do just "Parker".
5. Submit one question that you would like to see on future The Boys Behind The Blog.
What kind of airplane do you fly?
For some reason, I don't think this will be selected.
So fun! My middle name is Leigh too, sounds the same but spelled differently (my mom thought it was a more feminine spelling - definitely looks it!) It's a family name of sorts, the "man" spelling is my dad's middle name too. We don't ever get in to basketball either. The one time we watched basketball was to meet my parents at an Aggie basketball game over the weekend (funny) which was actually when Marshall talked to my dad about actually talking to him about us getting married. If that makes sense. Anyway! I've been seeing this link up everywhere so I think I may have to start doing it! We shall see :)

That is pretty awesome that Parker wrote a computer program for the March Madness bracket. If only it could be more effective!

Ha! #2 sounds like something my husband would say. Too funny. Love his answer to #5!
ReplyDeleteHaha! We have the same middle name. Love that he created a program to try to determine the winner.
ReplyDelete"Strangely it proved to be ineffective" hahaha dying. Love this!
ReplyDelete"what kind of airplan do you fly" hahah i wouldn't even know how to answer that ;)
ReplyDeleteI gave my hubby a pass this month. We moved and really I didn't like these questions. I probably could have just answered them for him! Lol I love Parker's "What kind of plane do you fly?" question. I fly a Pontiac Sunfire in silver! Remember, you don't drive fast, you fly low! Hehe. Happy almost Friday!
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend wishes he owned a plane but not likely he will fly one anytime soon. Sad.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this idea! I would love to participate in this link-up. What's the link to the link-up? Who hosts it?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love his answers to number 2 and 5! And really how awesome is he to write a computer program for March Madness!!
ReplyDeleteLoved these answers! I have always loved the idea of filling out the brackets, but in the long run I have no idea who plays and what they are even like so I just don't... and my hubby isn't into basket ball. Great post!
ReplyDeleteXo,
Kirstie
