After Parker wasn't so keen on my fudgy black bean brownies (I loved them!), I decided to make a new version of brownies that I knew he would love. Cadbury Creme Eggs were on sale after Easter so I stocked up on a few and got busy in the kitchen. We couldn't stay out of these, and they were so simple. Your taste buds will thank you!
Ingredients:
1 box of your favorite brownie mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
6 large Cadbury Creme Eggs, halved
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth and incorporated. Pour brownie batter into prepared pan.
3. Unwrap Cadbury Creme Eggs and cut in half vertically down the middle. Lay the halves carefully in rows in the batter (4 rows x 3 columns).
4. Bake about 20 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow brownies to cool at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
So easy and delicious! Enjoy!

This would be deadly in our home. My husband waits ALL YEAR LONG for the cadbury creme eggs! Good thing we can't buy them anymore. lol.

Holy wow. My husband's biggest vice is a Cadbury Creme Egg, so you'd best believe I'll be making these for him! Baby loves chocolate, too! ;)
These look heavenly... I haven't had brownies in forever and I think I'd be with Parker that these ones might win over the black bean brownies ;)
Oh goodness, yes please!
Ohhhh my!! I'm actively trying to get healthy and lose weight, and I know I wouldn't be able to just have 1 brownie, but these do look amazing! :)
