Chocolate Brownie Oat Cookies

I whipped up these cookies a couple of weeks ago to try something different, and they were delicious! They couldn't have been simpler to prepare, and I had to send some with Parker to work so I wouldn't eat the entire batch. These were a nice deviation from the tried and true chocolate chip cookie, and they used brownie mix!

Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix
1 cup oats
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 Tbsp water
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, stir brownie mix, oil, eggs, water, and oats. Once smooth, add chocolate chips.
3. Place heaping tablespoonfuls of dough on a large plate and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
4. Place chilled dough on your lined cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.

Enjoy!

  7. These look truly amazing! My mom made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies while I was growing up, and I loved the addition of the oats. Brownies rank high up in my favorite foods, so I will for sure be making these soon!
