howdy girl designs: Headband Giveaway

I am so excited to be reviewing and giving away a howdy girl designs headband today on the blog. Colleen is the mastermind behind howdy girl designs, and she is also one of my Delta Gamma sisters from Texas A&M. She is one of the reasons I decided to be a DG!
Colleen sent me this adorable nautical headband, and I just can't get over how cute it is. I mean seriously, it's navy and white with anchors. Naturally, I'm obsessed. The Turban Twist Headband is so unique from anything I own, but since it's navy and white, it pretty much matches everything I own. I can't help that it's the best color scheme ever.  

Colleen turned her long time love of sewing into a business of making headbands, pillows, wet bags, burp cloths, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Thus, howdy girl designs was born. The thing that I love most about howdy girl designs is that her products are designed for real life. Colleen takes extra steps to ensure her products will last, and they are all pre-washed and can be thrown into the washing machine and dryer. For someone like me who dislikes hand washing clothes almost as much as I dislike hand washing dishes (just ask my husband), this is important. The first time I wore my headband, my make up faded off onto the fabric. No big deal at all: I was able to throw it into the washing machine and start all over the next day. I may need to invest in a more long-lasting make-up, but my headband has the long-lasting thing covered.
