Friday Confessions
This week zoomed by, but I'm not complaining! Friday, thanks for showing your sweet self. Here's what's been going on in our neck of the woods...
I confess... I went to the Dancing With The Stars Perfect 10 tour with a girlfriend a couple of weeks ago and was completely star struck. That crew is so talented and it was surreal seeing Val and Witney, two of my favorites!
I confess... I was at the grocery store this week and the cashier noticed the necklace I wear every day with Taylor's name on it. She asked if it was my name, and I told her no, it is my daughter's name, and then she said "I love that name" and I basically wanted to hug her. We love that name too, nice cashier lady.
I confess... since our neighborhood has a community pool, we have been doing daily trips to the pool. I actually wanted to buy a new swimsuit at Target but all of the tops look like sports bras. It's an odd cut but I guess it's the new style. Did any other Target frequenters notice this?
I confess... my boss sent our team a picture of this shirt and suggested it be our new team shirt. I completely agree.
I confess... my parents bought us an ice cream maker as a house warming gift and I am SO excited to start using it! I know absolutely nothing about making ice cream, but I know I like to eat it.
Hope yall have a great weekend!
I think I need that t-shirt, too! I swear that is my life with my job these days! So glad you had a fast week, lady :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have an ice cream maker (yet) but I keep finding DELICIOUS ice cream recipes on Pinterest! I might have to get the Kitchenaid attachment so I can start making ice cream, too! You'll have to share what kind of ice cream you guys make!
ReplyDeletei love that shirt, that seems to be a daily thing for me haha
ReplyDeleteand i love that the cashier was able to give you a little sweet moment, not even realizing how important it was to you.
I love that shirt but my boss doesn't have that sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend!
Stopped by from the link-up! (even though I didn't post anything today....) I was sadly disappointed with the tops at Target this year. Either too sporty, not enough support, or not enough coverage! I had to bite the bullet and buy a top from VS. At least all of the afternoons and weekends at the pool should make it worthwhile!
ReplyDeleteI love that shirt! Andy and I went swimming on Sunday and it was surprising to see all of the swimsuits aka lack of fabric. There were some that I was embarrassed to look at. Also, how was DWTS?!?!
ReplyDeleteYum, ice cream makers make the best ice cream.

ReplyDeleteThis vanilla custard is our favorite. I make it all summer long. Just be careful to not accidentally cook the eggs when adding the mixture to them! I LOVE having an ice cream maker. Also, if you're hesitant to do stuff from scratch, I've heard from multiple people the Williams-Sonoma ice cream starter kits work well!
That shirt is hilarious and I love that your boss sent it out to everyone! haha. I didn't have luck finding a swimsuit at Target this year either :(
ReplyDeleteOoohhh, and ice cream maker!! That sounds like a super fun gift!!
ReplyDeleteI actually bought a one piece this year since I was self-conscious about how my body would look in a two piece. And no one needs to see George pulling a two piece off with his wiggle arms. But the styles are interesting this year...Also I am super duper jealous of DWTS!
