I confess... It's apparently National Twin Week, so shoutout to my favorite twin! I wouldn't want to match faces with anyone else! Also, who comes up with this stuff? It's a new "National This" day every day for something, but I felt that I had to participate in the twin one since I'm fortunate to be part of this exclusive club that only 1 in 250 get to be in.
I confess... I just got my semi annual haircut, and it's quite possibly the worst haircut I've ever had. Yall, I am super simple when it comes to my hair. It's never been dyed, and all I want is a trim straight across. I was in a hurry when I was leaving the salon and didn't get a good look at my hair until I got home. Aye yi yi. I am sure the lady would have fixed it had I gone back and asked, but I didn't want her taking any more scissors to my hair. After the first performance, I was worried I would end up bald! I trimmed the pieces she "forgot" myself after I snapped this picture. I suppose that's what I get for purchasing a haircut with a Groupon. Seriously though, how does this even happen??

I confess... I have no problem being at home by myself. I love hanging out with friends but also don't mind vegging on the couch in front of the TV. If I know Parker is going to be gone, I try to schedule a couple of social outings but always leave one night at home to do nothing. When someone asks me to do something on my scheduled "me night", this is what comes to mind...
I confess... I do not remember snacking before energy bites, but it must have been a dark, dark time. I shared this recipe on the blog a few weeks ago and have been making them ever since. I made it about 2 weeks before Parker finally found them in the refrigerator and tried them, and now I am having to make double batches just to get through the week. We love these things!
I confess... Survivor started back up this week! This is hands down our favorite show to watch together. This season is called "Second Chance", where they bring back castaways from previous seasons to give them a second shot at the million bucks. Our Wednesday night obsession is back!
It's the weekend! Yall make it a good one!

And I love survivor too. Also, your hair cut is the whole reason I'm scared to have to find a new hair person when I move! You can trust no one! lol
I love "me time"! Also, your hair, I've literally had that happen to me before. $7 haircuts at Great Clips are a thing of the past for this girl, I learned my lesson the hard way lol. Glad you were able to fix it! I am on the countdown to get my hair cut so soon!! Have a good weekend! :)
That "me night" meme is so me! My co-worker asked me to pick up a shift for him one Friday night and I was like "Can't. I'm vegging out in my pajamas." True story!

I am all about vegging out on the couch, definitely one of my favorite things to do.
I've had the same thing happen after a haircut. The funny thing is that I donated my hair, so it was pretty noticeable that a piece was longer than the rest.
Oh I should've skipped this post. I got an appointment with a new stylist next week and I'm already freaking out about it LOL
Ugh I hate it when that happens with haircuts! I'm obsesssssed with energy balls. So good! The only thing I don't love is getting the chia seeds stuck in my teeth!
I dread getting hair cuts. I always want a simple trim as well. Yet somehow, no matter how many different places I go to, they interpret trim as 3 inches. I'm sorry, maybe I'm in the wrong but I don't think a trim is 3 inches. Ugh. I hate it. But how on earth did she not see that piece on you?! Were there more pieces like that? Yikes!!
I think I need to make your energy bites. Lord knows I could use some extra energy and a snack a little healthier and Brownie Batter Oreos lol
Ah, the haircut! Glad you were able to fix that yourself! I rarely get mine cut (seriously.. it's been well over a year... oops), but I need to go soon, and since I haven't been to a salon yet in Ohio, I'm a little nervous. I normally go to cheaper places since I'm simple as well - just trim it!
Oh that haircut is sad. How do you screw up a straight across? Luckily you were able to fix it! I have me nights too which is usually Monday nights with Dancing with the Stars. Don't you try to invite me out anywhere!
